EPFO, the country's largest pension fund, is facing several issues related to its IT system. Over the past few years, the computer has been facing many problems due to various software and hardware issues. Officials warned about this, but higher officials did not take any action. EPFO officials expressed their growing frustration to Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya over the glitches in the IT system. The EPF Officers Association is very concerned about the deterioration of the IT system at EPFO if not addressed. Officials have been talking to CPFC about this for the last 2 years. The old system often creates many problems for the authorities like system malfunctions and interruptions. The performance of the software used is also affected. It is important that some steps are taken soon to improve the IT infrastructure at EPFO. He had raised the same issues with former labor minister Bhupendra Yadav last year, but despite acknowledging the issues in a meeting in March 2022 as chairman of the EPFO board of trustees, nothing was done.
