There are many investment schemes in the market for parents to ensure better education for girls and make their dreams come true in the future. Let's take a look at four policies introduced by LIC to make girls self-sufficient in the future.
1. LIC Jeevan Tarun

This plan is for puppies aged 3 months to 12 years. The premium should be paid till the child reaches 20 years of age. This plan has a lock-in period of 5 years. When the child reaches the age of 25, the plan will reimburse them for their college fees or any other expenses. The minimum sum assured of this plan is Rs 75,000.
2. LIC Jeevan Profit

The minimum age to join LIC Jeevan Rahat policy is 8 years. The minimum sum assured is Rs 2 lakh. This policy also allows you to receive the maturity benefit in installments at the age of 16, 21 and 25 years. You can choose between three policy tenures of 16, 21 and 25 years. 10, 15, 16 years and can choose any of these and pay the premium.
3. LIC Aadhaar pillar

This is a plan that a father can join for his daughter. Child must be at least 8 years old at the time of application. The minimum policy term is ten years. The policy can be continued for a maximum period of 20 years. The term for which the premium is payable is the same as the policy term. The sum assured is up to a maximum of five lakh rupees.
4. Money back plan

A girl can join the plan till she turns 12 years old. The policy tenure is up to 25 years. The policy benefits can be availed when the girl becomes at least 25 years of age. An important feature of this policy is that the refund will be given on the higher premium.The maximum sum assured is Rs.1 lakh. The biggest feature is that the girl gets 20% of the Sum Assured as a guaranteed return at the age of 18, 20 and 22.
