For this, you will need a birth certificate or school-college certificate. You can make changes only on the basis of this. The certificate should be issued by the central or state government. If there are no government documents of any kind, then you can use the medical certificate issued by the civil surgeon and the affidavit by the competent court.

Major changes in the name, date of birth, nominee, address, father or husband's name in the account are made only on the basis of paper proofs from the employer and the shareholders. Changes in the date of birth as per Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar are accepted only up to a gap of three years from the date of birth previously recorded in the EPFO account. You can make changes in EPF just like your Aadhaar.
The information that is on your Aadhaar will be added to your EPF account. So that you do not face any problem in the future. Therefore, if there are any mistakes in your Aadhaar card, then first get it corrected and then change your name and date of birth in the EPF account.
