Bollywood filmmaker Kabir Khan, celebrated for directing the blockbuster hit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Harshali Malhotra, recently provided an update on the much-anticipated sequel.
In a recent interview, Khan disclosed that while there’s considerable interest in a follow-up to the beloved comedy-drama, there is currently no concrete script in place.
However, he expressed optimism, mentioning that there are numerous intriguing ideas for continuing the storylines of Bajrangi and Chand Nawab.
Khan, who previously co-wrote the screenplay with veteran screenwriter V.
Vijayendra Prasad, acknowledged the immense success and critical acclaim garnered by the original film upon its release in 2015.
Despite announcing the sequel during a Mumbai event in 2021, Khan emphasized that they are still in the conceptualization phase and are yet to finalize a script for the project.
Fans eagerly await further developments as discussions about the sequel continue within the industry.
