Actually Aadhaar card which is 10 years old or more will not be canceled or deactivated after June 14. An order was issued by the Centre, which said that Aadhaar card information can be updated free of charge till June 14.
In fact, earlier the deadline for updating Aadhaar information was fixed on March 14. Later it was extended to 14 June. And then rumors spread that Aadhaar cards will be deactivated from June 14. However, the Aadhaar authorities informed that this information is wrong. Updating Aadhaar number online can be done free of charge. But to update Aadhaar service center you have to pay the price.
To update aadhaar card online first you need to login to uidai.gov.in. Then enter the Aadhaar number and click on Send OTP. OTP will be sent to the mobile number. Login with OTP. Then select Update Aadhaar Online. Then click on proceed to update aadhaar and change the information as needed.
