LPG Price Latest Update: In a significant development amid Lok Sabha Elections 2024 the government Oil marketing companies on Wednesday revised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. As per the latest revision in the prices the rate of 19 KG commercial LPG gas cylinders has been slashed by Rs 19 with effect from May 1 2024. A 19kg commercial LPG cylinder will be available in the national capital at Rs 1745.50 from Wednesday. Interestingly the LPG cylinder price slash across metro cities in the country comes in the wake of the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024. LPG Cylinder Price: Now Vs Last Month According to the latest revision in commercial LPG cylinder prices a 19 kg cylinder now will cost Rs 1745.50 and it was costing Rs 1764.50 last month in the national capital. Apart from Delhi the LPG Commercial cylinder prices were also slashed by Rs 19 in Mumbai and now a 19 kg cylinder will now cost Rs 1698.50 in Mumbai down from Rs 1717.50 last month. LPG Cylinder Prices in Delhi Mumbai Kolkata Chennai As per the latest revision of the prices a commercial 19 kg cylinder would now cost Rs 1911 in Chennai. However the prices of a commercial cylinder in Kolkata were revised downwards by Rs 20. With this a 19 kg LPG cylinder now costs Rs 1859 in Kolkata. It should be noted that the LPG cylinder price slash comes due to the fall in global oil prices against which domestic fuel prices are benchmarked. Horeover the oil price slash also can be attributed to rising crude inventories in the US and the increasing hopes of a ceasefire agreement in the Middle East.
