All offices of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) will remain open even in the last days of the financial year 2023-24. LIC has taken this step to help the taxpayer complete his tax-saving tasks.
LIC said in its guidelines that to ensure that the policyholder does not face any kind of problem, the offices under the jurisdiction of the zone and division will remain open as per the official working hours on 30.3.2024 and 31.3.2024.
As per the advice of the insurance regulator IRDAI, LIC has decided to extend this special measure to policyholders.
Banks will also remain open this weekend
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had also directed to continue functioning in all offices and banks on March 30-31. This means that all branches of the bank will remain open on Saturday and Sunday. If you also have to go to the bank for some work, then you can go to the bank on Saturday-Sunday. As per the instructions of RBI, counters related to government transactions will remain open in banks during working hours.
