This morning in Jassowal hamlet in Hambran village, an LPG cylinder leak caused a fire in a room, injuring two migrant laborers with burns. When it happened, the two were making tea on the gas burner.

Naved and Fateh Khan were named as the wounded.
Luckily, nothing stored in the room was destroyed by the fire.
Mohammad Azad, the maternal uncle of the victims, said that his nephews Fateh and Naved had moved to Jassowal hamlet on Hambran Road from Uttar Pradesh a few days before. The fire began this morning when Naved was preparing tea and the gas line broke off the stove, causing the LPG to spill. In the event, both of them had burn injuries.
When the fields’ owner heard the commotion, he also arrived at the scene and saw that the wounded were being treated at the Civil Hospital. The victims’ serious conditions prompted the physicians to send them to a different hospital. According to reports, the wounded person’s condition is currently stable.
The field owner, however, claimed that both of the youths had used cannabis on Friday night and that they were unable to mend the gas line that had unintentionally fallen off the stove because they seemed to be under the effect of the drug.
