Since the advent of the Unified Payment Interface, our life has become much easier. Whether we want to send money to anyone or transfer money, we can do it very easily through the phone in our pocket. But sometimes UPI payment gets stuck or fail. Sometimes it happens that money is deducted from our account but the UPI transaction fails. Do you know what to do in such a situation? Along with this, we will tell you what you should do if you do not get the money in a refund.
Why does UPl get stuck?
UPl payment may fail due to these reasons:
Bank Server: if the server of your or the person receiving the money bank account is busy.
Network: even if the internet is not working properly, a UPL payment may get stuck or even fail.
Limit: Even if we exceed the UPl limit, it happens that our UPl payment either gets stuck or fails.
Wrong lD: Even if the wrong UPl lD is entered, our UPl payment gets stuck or fails.
Money missing due to UPI failure: Generally, if UPI payment fails and money is deducted, the bank gives you a refund in 2 to 3 days. But what should you do if you do not get the refund even after 3 days? In this regard, as per the orders of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the central bank of India, if the customer does not get the refund for the failed transaction within the time limit set by the bank, then the bank will charge the customer Rs 100 per day.
Will provide a fine. This simply means that if you do not get the money back within 3 days, then you will have to pay Rs 100 per day to the bank for the delay in getting the money. You will have to complain to the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) along with proof of your transaction and after this NPCI will order the bank to refund your money.
