EPFO: Alert for Provident Fund Account (PF) customers. Do you want to change details like name and address in your EPF account? Any mistakes in the details can be easily changed. However, for that, you have to fill out the joint declaration form online. A joint means a form signed by both the company owner and the employee agreeing to the changes. This joint declaration is useful for changing provident fund account details. The jointly signed declaration form should be sent to the PF Commissioner. Then the details in your PF account will be updated.

You can update 11 types of details in the PF account through a joint declaration form. Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) provides an opportunity to change name, gender, date of birth, parent's name, relationship, marital status, joining date, leaving date, reasons for leaving, nationality, and Aadhaar number. However, now let us know the process of how the details can be updated.
  • First, you need to log in to EPFO's ​​official website epfoindia.gov.in.
  • In the services section.. for employees option should be selected.
  • Then a new webpage will open. You have to go to the service section again. The second option is Member UAN or Online Service. Click on it.
  • After that, a new page will open. Andi member interface. You need to enter your UAN, password, and captcha, and log in.
  • Select the Manage option in the top ribbon.
  • If you go down there, it says Joint Declaration. You have to enter your member ID in it.
  • Here you need to upload the documents related to the details you want to change.
  • After submitting the request it will appear in the employer login. Also, the mail will go to the employer's registered e-mail.
