SSC GD Answer Key 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official provisional answer key for the GD Constable recruitment examination 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) can now visit the official SSC website to download the answer key, response sheet, and question paper.

To download the answer key, candidates must log in using their registration number and password or date of birth. The Commission has also provided an opportunity for candidates to raise objections regarding the answers.

Exam held from April 27 to May 30
The SSC GD Constable 2026 Computer-Based Test was conducted from April 27 to May 30, 2026. Lakhs of candidates who appeared for the exam can now use the answer key to assess their probable scores. According to the SSC, the provisional answer key and candidates' response sheets have been made available starting June 15, 2026.

Objections can be raised until June 20
If a candidate has an objection regarding any answer, they can submit a challenge following the prescribed procedure. The window for raising objections will remain open from June 15 to June 20, 2026 (until 6:00 PM).

How to Calculate Probable Score
According to the SSC's prescribed marking scheme, 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.

Candidates can use this formula to calculate their probable marks:
Total Score = (Correct Answers × 2) − (Incorrect Answers × 0.25)

Minimum Marks Required
To qualify in the computer-based examination, candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks. Candidates belonging to the General (UR) category must secure at least 48 marks (30 percent); OBC and EWS category candidates need 40 marks (25 percent); and SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen category candidates must secure 32 marks (20 percent).

To challenge the answer key, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:
