UPSC Vacancy 2026: There is good news for young people preparing for government jobs. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications for recruitment across various central ministries and departments. A total of 538 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the UPSC ORA portal. Recruitment will be conducted for departments such as Civil Defence, Agriculture, Forensic Science, Law, Education, and several others.

Age Limit Conditions
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation for these posts. Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates will receive a 5-year relaxation, Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates 3 years, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) an additional 10 years, depending on their category.

For posts where the maximum age limit is set at 50 years, the limit for PwBD candidates will be 56 years. If necessary, UPSC may also relax educational qualification and experience requirements for eligible candidates.

New candidates should register first, while previously registered candidates should log in.
Select the post of your choice by choosing Advertisement Number 06/2026.
Fill in all the required personal, educational, and experience-related details in the application form.
Upload a passport-sized photograph, signature, and necessary documents.
After submitting the application form, save the receipt and registration number for future reference.
