Uruguay are being touted as a potential dark horse in this year’s World Cup, and their clash against Saudi Arabia on Monday night offers a strong opportunity to make a statement.

Saudi Arabia, ranked 60th in the world, face an uphill battle. Their manager only took charge in April, and the squad lacks the depth and technical ability of their Group H rivals. While they may show determination, the gulf in class is evident.

It would take an extraordinary performance for Saudi Arabia to secure even a point from this encounter. Anything other than a comfortable Uruguay win would come as a major surprise.
