There is good news for young aspirants dreaming of studying at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. The institute has launched a new course: a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Analytics. Admission to this course will be based on students' academic performance and their JEE Advanced scores. Students who have passed Class 12 (or an equivalent examination) in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, and have also qualified in the JEE Advanced exam, are eligible to apply.
The institute has invited applications for the first batch, which has an intake capacity of 60 students. If you hold a valid JEE Advanced score, you can apply for admission. The application process began on June 4, 2026, and will remain open until 11:59 PM on July 3.
**Classes to Begin on August 18**
The first admission list will be released on July 10. Subsequently, the second list will be issued on July 23, followed by a third list on August 3, if required. Students will then be required to report to the college on August 17, with classes commencing on August 18.
**Opportunity for Admission to the Tech-MBA Course**
According to IIM Lucknow, students who complete this three-year Bachelor of Science course may be considered for admission to the proposed Tech-MBA course, thereby creating an integrated dual-degree academic pathway. The curriculum integrates Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI with business and management education. Key areas covered in the course include Data Warehousing, Data Structures and Algorithms, Big Data Computing, Cloud Computing, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning Deployment, Business Analytics, and Data Visualization.

IIM Lucknow states that this course has been designed with an eye on emerging job roles across various sectors, including technology, consulting, financial services, e-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing, and public sector organizations.
