Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday flagged off 45 electric buses of UPSRTC in Gautam Buddha Nagar and inaugurated the Noida Electric Bus Depot through video conferencing. During this, he said, Metro is operating in 7 cities of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, today more than 700 electric buses are being operated in 17 municipal corporations.

To ensure last mile connectivity with Noida International Airport, operation of 110 electric buses will start by June 15. By increasing this number in future, we are moving towards the target of operating 500 electric buses in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
The Chief Minister further said, earlier we had to get electric buses from outside. Now 02 Electric Bus Manufacturing Plants have been established in the state. Today, operation of 03 hydrogen buses is also being started in YEIDA area. Also said, implementing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, air services are going to be started from India’s largest airport – ‘Noida International Airport’ from June 15.
Also said, today Uttar Pradesh has the best road network in the country. Road network of 4 lakh kilometers, state highways, highways, expressways, interstate connectivity… all these make Uttar Pradesh one of the best connected states in the country.
