Change routine to avoid heat wave

One should avoid going out in the afternoon during scorching heat. The doctor said that if there is important work then do it in the morning or evening. Apart from this, it is considered better to wear loose and light colored clothes. Especially white colored clothes can help in protecting the body from overheating.

Is it safe to sleep on the terrace at night?

Dr. Tikam Singh has advised to avoid sleeping on the terrace at night. He said that not only the heat, but sleeping on the terrace also poses a danger of insects and other animals. Therefore, it is better to sleep in a safe place.

Problems increase due to lack of water in the body

Dr. Tikam Singh told that when there is lack of water in the body and body temperature increases, then the person starts feeling irritable. Sometimes problems like weakness, headache and fatigue also start occurring. Therefore, it is considered most important to keep the body hydrated in summer. He advised that one should drink adequate amount of water throughout the day. Also, maximum liquid diet like lemon water, buttermilk, coconut water and juice should be taken.

Stay away from tea, coffee and alcohol

According to the doctor, consumption of tea, coffee and alcohol should be reduced during the summer season. Alcohol in particular can increase dehydration in the body, which increases the risk of ill health.

What to do if you get heatstroke?

If a person feels dizzy, feels severe weakness, the body feels very hot or feels confused, then it should not be ignored. According to the doctor, in case of heatstroke, one should immediately go to the hospital so that timely treatment can be provided.
