Golden Chariot Luxury Train: If you are also fond of traveling by train and like to have a luxury experience during the journey, then this news is for you. Actually, keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, IRCTC has given a new look to its luxury train ‘Golden Chariot’ for the tourist season of 2026-27. This train has been modified to make it more comfortable and modern than ever before, so that passengers can enjoy a convenient and luxurious journey.

Let us tell you that this luxury train will take you on a tour of beautiful places, historical cities and major tourist places of South India. Apart from this, the Railway Department has also made special arrangements keeping in mind the convenience and safety of the passengers, so that they do not face any kind of problem in the journey.

What facilities will be available in the train?

• The ‘Golden Chariot’ train has been made more luxurious than ever before and many modern facilities have been added for the passengers.
• A very beautiful interior has been prepared inside the train.
• For the convenience of passengers, facilities like comfortable cabin, smart TV and Wi-Fi streaming will be available.
• Special attention has also been given to security, for which CCTV cameras and modern fire alarm systems have been installed in the train.
• Apart from this, trained hospitality staff have also been deployed to assist the passengers.

How many passengers will be able to travel in this train?

A total of 40 cabins have been provided for passengers in this luxury train of IRCTC. These include 13 double bed cabins and 26 twin bed cabins. Apart from this, making special arrangements for disabled passengers, Railways has made a separate special cabin. A total of 80 passengers will be able to enjoy a comfortable journey at a time in this train.

• Two luxurious restaurants built in the train make it even more luxurious.
• The names of these two restaurants are ‘Ruchi’ and ‘Nalpak’.
• Passengers will get food of their choice in this moving hotel-like train.
• Here you will get to taste both Indian and foreign dishes.
• Apart from this, ‘Madeira’ lounge bar is also present in the train.
• ‘Arogya Spa and Fitness Centre’ has also been built for the comfort and fitness of the passengers, where they will get Ayurvedic therapy and fitness facilities.
