Sources from Nabanna say the government will start disbursing the money from June 1. A new portal is already up for the scheme, and the government has increased the amount. Now, each woman will receive Rs 3,000.
The government has launched a new portal for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme. As per government guidelines, the names of those who were getting benefits under the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme will be directly registered for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme. New people can also apply.
The new portal for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme is https://www.govtschemes.in/west-bengal-annapurna-bhandar-scheme. This scheme is part of the Annapurna Bhandar Yojana. You can check your status on the new portal to see if your name has been transferred from Lakshmir Bhandar to Annapurna Bhandar.
First step: Go to the website https://www.govtschemes.in/west-bengal-annapurna-bhandar-scheme. Then, click on the 'Annapurna Bhandar Scheme Official Portal Link' option. This will take you to the https://socialsecurity.wb.gov.in/login page. Finally, click on 'Track Application Status'.
After clicking on 'Track Application Status', you will find a 'Search Using' option. Here, you can select and click on any option like phone number, Aadhaar number, or bank account number. This will show you whether you will receive the money for June in your account.
Those who were not receiving benefits under the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme can apply for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme. However, this process has not started yet. New applicants can apply for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme from June.
According to Nabanna sources, work on the Annapurna Bhandar scheme's portal is ongoing. It will take another 5-10 days to complete. However, those who were receiving money from Lakshmir Bhandar will face no issues. They will receive their money in June.
The money for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme will start getting credited from June 1st. Those who were beneficiaries of Lakshmir Bhandar will be automatically enrolled. And those who want to apply fresh can do so from June 1st.
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari had announced in the first cabinet meeting that the Annapurna Bhandar scheme's money will not be distributed indiscriminately. Deceased women and infiltrators will not receive money from this scheme. Additionally, income tax payers, government employees, or retired government employees are also not eligible.
The state government has made DBT linking mandatory for the Annapurna Bhandar scheme. You will not receive the money without this link. So, link your Aadhaar card with your bank account quickly. Also, the money will not be deposited in joint accounts.
