Padmini Ekadashi 2026: Ekadashi date is dedicated to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, the sustainer of the world. Two Ekadashi fasts are observed every month, but when Ekadashi fast falls in Adhikamas, its importance increases manifold. Adhikamas is also called Malmas. There are two Ekadashi fasts in Malmas. Along with Ekadashi date, the month of Malmas is also considered to be of Lord Vishnu. Padmini Ekadashi falling in Malmas is said to be very special in the scriptures and Puranas.

This Ekadashi is the first Ekadashi of Malmas. Since it falls in Malmas, it is also called Purushottam or Malmasi Ekadashi. On this day, Lord Vishnu is worshiped and fasted as per the rituals. It is believed that by fasting and worshiping on the day of Padmini Ekadashi, one gets virtue equal to Ashwamedha Yagya, so let us know when is the fast of Padmini Ekadashi? When is the fast of Padmini Ekadashi? (When is Padmini Ekadashi 2026?

According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha Adhikamas is starting on 26th May at 05.10 am.
This date will end on May 27 at 06:21 am.

In such a situation, keeping in mind the Udayatithi, the fast of Padmini Ekadashi will be observed on 27th May, Wednesday.

Padmini Ekadashi Puja Muhurat (Padmini Ekadashi 2026 Puja Subh Muhurat

On the day of Padmini Ekadashi, Brahma Muhurta of puja is going to be from 04:03 am to 04:44 am. The auspicious time for worship in the evening will be from 07:12 to 08:13. Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga is going to last from 05:25 am to 05:56 am.

On Padmini Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes.
After this, worship Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi in the home temple.
Offer yellow flowers, Tulsi leaves, incense, lamp and naivedya to God.
After this chant Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya mantra.
Recite Vishnu Sahasranama or Ekadashi fast story.
Do vigil at night and chant hymns and kirtans of Lord Vishnu.
Break the fast on Dwadashi tithi.

Time of Parana of Padmini Ekadashi fast (Padmini Ekadashi 2026 Fast Parana Time)

The fast of Ekadashi is always broken on Dwadashi date only. The fast of Padmini Ekadashi will be broken on 28th May. According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time for breaking the fast on this day will be from 05:25 to 07:56. Since Dwadashi Tithi will end at this time.
