Mumbai, May 19: Pravit Sahu and Jayden Noronha registered victories in the under-19 boys' singles Round of 128 matches of the first Maharashtra State Junior badminton selection tournament at the Willingdon Sports Club, Worli, on Tuesday.
Sahu from Mumbai Suburban beat Nivaan Shah of Greater Mumbai 15-13, 15-10, while Jayden from Mumbai Suburban defeated Hardik Motwani of Thane 15-8, 15-8.

In the U-19 doubles Round of 32 matches, Mayuresh Sonawane and Rishabh Gajwani defeated Nivaan Shah and Shrayaansh Jajoo 15-6, 15-9.
