A bestselling duvet cover from Marks & Spencer has been hailed as "fantastic quality" and "good value for money" by shoppers. The high street retailer boasts a wide selection of bedding options to suit all tastes.

However, theEgyptian Cotton 230 Thread Count Crisp Duvet Cover has proved to be a bestseller. Available in a range of 15 colours, including ice white, sage, terracotta and teal, there's something to complement every bedroom aesthetic. Customers can choose from single, double, king size or super king size options, with prices starting at £30 for the single and rising to £45 for the super king size.

The product description reads: "This premium duvet cover is crafted from pure Egyptian cotton with a 230 thread count for a luxurious feel against the skin.

"The durable percale finish gives it a crisp, smooth texture that adds to its timeless appeal. StayNewTM technology keeps the fabric looking fresh wash after wash, while the practical non-iron finish reduces time spent on laundry."

The cover is made from 100% Egyptian cotton with a 230 thread count. Matching pillowcases are sold separately at £15 for a pair.

There have been many happy customers, with one reviewer commenting: "We have these on different colours in every bedroom in our house now. Fantastic quality, good value for money and wash and dry well. What's not to like?"

Another pleased shopper added: "This is the cover I've been looking for. Simply white, crisp and simple. Yes looks stunning. Looks lovely with the teal balance. Stands out."

Someone else commented: "Excellent quality." A fourth wrote: "Look forward to bedtime. Just beautiful and comfortable. Bought one for us, then one for my mum and daughter. Washes lovely. Worth every penny."

Despite the glowing feedback, some customers found the duvet fell short of expectations on comfort. One remarked: "Would not recommend. Took all the packaging off otherwise wish I could return it. Feels hard and uncomfortable."

Another added: "Crunchy material, great quality but easily marked with cream - not a fan." Someone else commented: "I bought 2 sets of these but I found it very scratchy on my skin and made me feel really hot."
