The rumours about Sreeleela and Tilak Varma dating have been going on for a long time now. These suggested that the two had been dating for over a year. The actress’s team and her mother have been working hard to disregard all of these rumours.

These began circulating after someone from Sreeleela’s team was allegedly spotted wearing a ‘Tilak’ jersey. Moreover, her mother was seen in the stands during a match in Dharamshala.

Speaking with the Deccan Chronicle, Sreeleela’s mother, Dr Swarnalatha, talked about how her daughter is dedicated to her acting and her studies.

“These rumours are absolutely false and have no truth in them. We do not know how such stories emerge. There is not even an iota of truth in reports claiming that Sreeleela and Tilak Varma have been seeing each other for the past year. It is purely a figment of imagination.”

She continued, “She is preparing for her NEET-PG examination scheduled in June. Right now, her concentration is entirely on studies and films. She has another five to six years ahead for such personal matters and is balancing both academics and career very well.”

Speaking with Pinkvilla, her team also confirmed the same, “The rumours surrounding Tilak Varma and Sreeleela are completely baseless and untrue. The two have never even met or spoken to each other. There is absolutely no truth to these speculations, and such fabricated stories should not be circulated without any factual basis.”

It spiralled further when fans began speculating that the two had unfollowed each other on social media because of the intensity with which the rumours were spreading. Suryakumar Yadav also added fuel to the fire by teasing Tilak Varma about being in love. He joked about how he was smitten.
