In the match between the Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Dharamshala on May 17, Tim David gave a befitting reply to the Punjab supporter after he took Azmatullah Omarzai's wicket. It happened in the final ball in Rasik Salam Dar's ball when Amat tried to hit it to the long off.
With the game already going out of hand, Amat tried to hit the slower ball. But he mistimed it, and Tim David picked the easy catch. And after that, he patted his thigh, doing the "Chak de Phatte" celebration, mocking the Punjab fans.

Earlier, in the match against the Mumbai Indians, Tim David was fined for showing the middle finger to the Mumbai Indians team after defeating them. Even though this action wouldn't be flagged as offensive, but it will be debatable to not put it under the same intention.

Punjab Kings suffers unreal downfall as RCB qualifies
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the Punjab Kings by 23 runs, becoming the first team to get qualified with 18 points. Meanwhile, Punjab Kings has been practically eliminated as the other teams, including Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Chennai Super Kings, are right behind them, having more matches to play. If those teams win those, it won't matter much even if Punjab defeats LSG this Saturday.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru produced a commanding batting display, posting 222/4 in 20 overs. After Jacob Bethell’s brisk 11, Virat Kohli anchored the innings with a 37-ball 58 while Devdutt Padikkal struck 45 off 25 to maintain the momentum. Venkatesh Iyer then shifted gears, remaining unbeaten on 73 from 40 deliveries with eight fours and four sixes. Tim David added the finishing touch with a 12-ball 28.
Punjab Kings endured early setbacks, slipping to 19/3 inside four overs. Cooper Connolly’s 37 and Suryansh Shedge’s 35 rebuilt briefly before Marcus Stoinis contributed 37. Shashank Singh launched a late counterattack, smashing 56 off 27, while Azmatullah Omarzai added 14.
