A significant incident has emerged from the Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir. The 59 Engineer Regiment of the Indian Army demonstrated prompt action by safely defusing a live RT mortar shell found in the wild area of Dhanaka.
According to military officials, this hazardous mortar shell was discovered abandoned in the dense forest of Dhanaka, raising concerns about a potential major accident. Upon receiving the alert, the army's bomb disposal team quickly arrived at the scene and successfully neutralized the live shell without any damage, providing relief to the local residents.
