Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar's Son Arrested in POCSO Case: What You Need to Know

Hyderabad: Bageerath, the son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, was taken into custody on Saturday night in connection with a POCSO case filed against him.
A senior police official confirmed the arrest, stating, "The accused has been arrested by police."
In response, Bandi Sanjay mentioned that he had encouraged his son to cooperate with the authorities and participate in the investigation.
He expressed on social media, "Satya Meva Jayate. With utmost respect for the law and judiciary, today my son Bandi Bageerath went before the Telangana Police through our advocates for investigation."
This incident follows a recent decision by the Telangana High Court, which denied Bageerath's request for interim protection from arrest.
