Graham Norton may be one of the most famous presenters on telly, but that doesn't mean those around him are forced into the spotlight too. The TV host is happily marired to Scottish filmmaker Jonathan 'Jono' McLeod, and has been ever since 2022, but their love life has stayed between the two of them, for the most part. They tied the knot in a very private ceremony in Cork, but still will rarely attend public events together. While their life has remained very private for the most part, over the years the BBC presenter and beloved Eurovision host has given snippets into his love life.
He previously said of his wedding vows, which were shared in front of 120 people: "I had a joke in my speech: the vows are much more manageable. 'Till death do us part' seems more achievable at our age.
"If you get married at 23, that's a big ask. We only have to put up with each other for a couple of decades. And then I'll be out of here."
Graham also admitted previously that meeting his now-husband changed his opinion on marriage. He previously said on Ireland's The Late Show: "As you get older, having had a string of failed relationships, you appreciate when something is right, you treasure it, you don't take it for granted and so put a ring on it."
He previously told Attitude that he went into the relationship with "eyes wide open" and "knew the pitfalls and dangers" but added: "I met someone who I was willing to take a bet on."
The pair are still thriving, and have a very impressive property portfolio with Graham's home in County Cork, and previously his £4.95m East London home and a £4.15m New York townhouse which both went on the market.
Following their wedding Graham had a slight pivot in some of his work, making the decision to cut back on weekends and as a result, leaving Virgin Radio. He explained on air at the time: "I'll still be popping up at the station from time to time but my regular Saturday and Sundays, I'm stepping away.
"I've worked weekends between here and the old place for 13 years and my life has changed a bit, so I thought, 'Oh, I want my weekends back!"
One factor into that decision could be the fact he wanted to focus on travelling and making the most out of his life with his husband. He's still picked up fresh work, such as ITV's The Neighbourhood, while also keeping up hisannual work as Eurovision host.
