Boy killed, several seriously injured after lorry overturns near Konandur in Thirthahalli

Thirthahalli: A boy died on the spot and several others were seriously injured after a lorry overturned near Konandur on the Hullathi road in Thirthahalli taluk on Saturday.
According to reports, the lorry carrying around 35 passengers from Harihar was travelling from Hanagere Katte towards Pirangudda when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle at a curve, causing it to overturn.
Due to the impact of the accident, passengers inside the vehicle were thrown out, creating panic at the spot.
The injured were immediately shifted to the government hospital in Konandur for treatment.
Police visited the spot and conducted an inspection in connection with the incident.
