Bus overturns after collision with car near Thirthahalli, several injured

Thirthahalli: Several people were injured after a private bus and a car collided near Kaimara on Saturday. The front portion of the car was completely crushed in the accident, while the private bus overturned.
According to preliminary information, the accident is suspected to have occurred due to drowsy driving.
Passengers travelling in the bus and occupants of the car suffered minor injuries, sources said.
The bus is reportedly from Ballari, while the car belongs to Shivamogga.
The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment. The accident occurred within the limits of the Agumbe police station.
