Patna. The government has taken a big step to make the traffic system in Bihar more strict and disciplined. Now drivers breaking traffic rules will get less time than before to pay the fine. The Transport Department has made it clear that now the time limit for depositing the challan amount has been reduced from 90 days to 45 days.

Strict action will be taken if fine is not paid within 45 days

According to the new rule, if the driver does not pay the fine within 45 days, strict action will be taken against him. In this, the process of canceling all the documents to the vehicle like RC, Insurance and Pollution Certificate (PUC) can be started. Apart from this, such vehicle owners will not be able to buy and sell their vehicles in future.

There will be strict action against fake certificates also

The Transport Department has also made it clear that many times, despite not paying the challan, people get fake or wrong Pollution Certificate (PUC) made. If such vehicles are caught during investigation, not only will the certificate be cancelled, but action will also be taken against the concerned centre.

training for rule breakers

The government is not only paying attention to punishment but also to reform. Drivers who repeatedly break traffic rules will have to take training at the District Transport Office. If a driver repeatedly violates the rules and does not improve even after training, his driving license can also be confiscated.

More strictness in future

The department says that in the coming time, monitoring regarding adherence to traffic rules will be made even more strict. Priority will be given to prompt action against rule breakers, digital monitoring and timely collection of fines, so that road accidents can be reduced.
