Rare Red Sand Boa smuggling uncovered in Bidar; three arrested

Bidar: Forest department officials conducted a major operation on Thursday, May 14, seizing a rare live Red Sand Boa worth lakhs of rupees and arresting three individuals.
The live Red Sand Boa, weighing 5.34 kg, was being illegally transported in a white car with an Andhra Pradesh registration. Acting on specific information and under the guidance of Conservator of Forests Ashish Reddy, officials conducted a raid near the Chikpet petrol bunk on the outskirts of the city.
