I will not leave the battlefield. Hand weapons will not come down either. We are ready for a long war. This is what Hezbollah chief Naim Kassem said about the vow to make Israel hell. At the same time, he said, our armed forces and weapons are completely internal affairs of Lebanon. There will be no compromise on these.

According to sources, Qassem also presented a five-point outline for future cooperation with the Lebanese government. These include ending Israeli aggression and securing Lebanon’s sovereignty, recovering Israeli-occupied Lebanese territory and removing Jewish troops from it, releasing prisoners, repatriating displaced citizens in southern Lebanon and ensuring their resettlement. “No one outside has the right to say anything about Lebanon’s weapons and military affairs,” the Hezbollah chief warned other countries.

According to a report by Al Jazeera, the Hezbollah chief made it clear that no one outside has any idea about Lebanon’s internal affairs. He said, “If the Lebanese government accepts the five-point conditions given by us, then we will consider taking a decision on our internal affairs as well.” At the same time, he has made it clear that he will not sit at the negotiating table with Israel.
