Chennai:Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has granted special permission for 9 am screenings of the upcoming film Karuppu, drawing attention from both the film industry and fans just days after assuming office.

The decision comes shortly after Vijay took oath as the Chief Minister, marking one of his first high-profile moves intersecting governance and the entertainment sector.
