Srimad Bhagavad Geeta
Bhagavad Gita: It is said in the scriptures of Sanatan Dharma that on the basis of whatever good and bad deeds a man does in his life, his soul gets punishment or rebirth after death. That means, a man has to give account of all his deeds to God. Whatever good deeds a person does, God considers them as virtues and the bad deeds he does are considered sins.
By doing wrong things man becomes guilty of sin. Srimad Bhagavad Gita is a sacred Hindu scripture. Geeta has been said by Shri Krishna himself. The essence of life is hidden in it. In Geeta, Lord Shri Krishna has told about two such great sins which destroy a person. Let us know which are these two great sins?
They are mentioned in religious texts
It is clearly stated in texts like Garuda Purana, Srimagadbhagavadgita and Kathopanishad that Rajogun arises from lust and anger, which are categorized as great sins. Shri Krishna has said that these two things are Mahashan i.e. they are going to eat everything. Because this confuses a person's ability to think and understand, due to which he commits more sins.

Geeta verse
Krishna has said in verse 37 of the third chapter (Karmayoga) of Srimad Bhagavad Gita- Kama esh krodha esh rajogunasamudbhavah. Mahashano mahapapama viddhyaenmiha vairanam.
The meaning of this verse is that the desire and lust arising from Rajoguna later turns into anger. Then it shows negative impact on the intellect of the person, due to which he commits more and more sins.
How to avoid these 2 sins?
In verse 3.39 of Gita, Lord Shri Krishna has said that lust (desire or lust) and anger are the biggest enemies of a wise person. The one who can control those actions which lead a person towards sin and destruction is a true Karmayogi. One can easily sail out of the sea of passion by sitting in the boat of knowledge. Apart from this, by taking refuge in God and chanting His name, one gets freedom from all kinds of sins.
