Mohammed Siraj initiated the downfall by dismissing Travis Head for a duck, followed by Kagiso Rabada, who dismantled the middle order by taking out Abhishek Sharma (6), Ishan Kishan (11), and Smaran Ravichandran (9). At this point, SRH found themselves in dire straits at 32/4.

Jason Holder Seals the Victory

Jason Holder then took control of the match for GT by removing Heinrich Klaasen (14) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (2) in a single over. The pressure mounted on Hyderabad as wickets fell consistently, leading to their total collapse. The final wickets of Shivang Kumar (4), Pat Cummins (19), and Prafull Hinge (3) saw SRH bowled out for a mere 86 runs.

Under early pressure, Nishant Sindhu and Sai Sudarsan worked to rebuild the innings, adding 38 crucial runs for the third wicket before Nishant fell for 22, bowled by Pat Cummins.

Sudarsan and Sundar's Partnership Revives GT

The pivotal moment for Gujarat came from a vital partnership between Sai Sudarsan and Washington Sundar. Together, they forged a significant 60-run partnership for the fourth wicket, allowing GT to regain their footing.

Sai Sudarsan played a steady innings, scoring 61 off 44 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes before being dismissed by Saqib Hussain.
