Prateek Yadav, younger son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, has passed away. After the news of his demise came out, there was a wave of mourning in the political and social world. Prateek Yadav was the husband of BJP leader and UP Women Commission vice-chairman Arpana Yadav and the younger brother of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
According to the information, Prateek Yadav was brought to the hospital at around 5:55 in the morning, but the doctors declared him dead. His body has been sent for post-mortem, only after the report of which the real cause of death will be clear. It is being told that about a week ago, he was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow after his health deteriorated. Prateek Yadav used to maintain distance from politics and manage his business. He used to run a gym named The Fitness Planet in Lucknow. He was well known in the fitness industry. Apart from this, he was also associated with a foundation and participated in social activities.

According to media reports, Prateek Yadav's net worth is said to be between Rs 5.5 crore to Rs 7 crore. However, this estimate is based on the reports of 2024 and at present his wealth may be even more than this. It is said that a major part of his income came from fitness business and real estate sector.
Prateek Yadav owned many gyms and fitness centers. Along with this, he also used to earn from fitness training, brand promotion and other works related to health sector. He also had an active presence in the real estate business. His portfolio included property investment, commercial building and property dealing. Although he belonged to a political family, he always tried to make his own identity in business and fitness industry. His demise has come as a big shock to his family and close supporters.
