Since hitting theatres, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has emerged as a massive box office success, shattering multiple records along the way. Dhurandhar was released in theatres on December 5, 2025, while Dhurandhar 2 arrived in cinemas on March 19 this year. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles.

Arjun Rampal Reacts To The Film’s Massive Success

Speaking to NDTV, Arjun Rampal, who portrayed Major Iqbal in Dhurandhar 2, admitted that the film’s extraordinary success still feels surreal to him.

“I’m still pinching myself; you know what I mean? I think for the whole team it has been phenomenal. Way, way, way beyond anybody’s wildest dreams or imagination. It just throws you into a sense of gratitude”, he said.


Arjun revealed that he has remained in constant touch with director Aditya Dhar and shared that the atmosphere among the cast and crew has been emotional and overwhelming as audiences continue to shower love on the film.

“Oh yeah. They’re all dudes, man. They’re all ‘Dhurandhars’. Everybody’s in shock. There’s so much dopamine going on," he added.

The actor also shared that Aditya Dhar has been seeking comfort in spiritual places amid the chaos surrounding the film’s success. According to Arjun, the filmmaker has been visiting temples to find calm and balance during the overwhelming celebrations and attention.

Reflecting on the emotional impact of the blockbuster run, Arjun noted that the team has consciously tried to remain humble despite the enormous success.

On a personal level, Arjun shared that he chose to disconnect and spend quiet time with his family after the film’s release.

“As soon as the film released, I went back home to Goa. I’ve been with my family, spending time in nature and just being at peace," Arjun concluded.
