Ghazipur: Currently, weddings are in full swing across Uttar Pradesh, but one particular ceremony in Ghazipur has caught everyone's attention. During the traditional 'joota chhupai' (shoe hiding) ritual, the groom became upset with his sisters-in-law, leading to a serious turn of events. Reports suggest that the groom began to behave inappropriately towards them, escalating tensions to the point where the bride's family refused to allow her to leave with him. After several hours of discussions, the groom returned home without the bride.

This incident took place in the Muhammadpur Kusum village of the Kasimabad area. The wedding procession had arrived at the Rajbhar locality, and all rituals from the door worship to the wedding were proceeding normally. However, during the shoe hiding ritual, the groom's sisters-in-law hid his shoes and began demanding money as a customary gift in return. They were also joking around with the groom.

Concerns Raised About Groom's Mental State
Witnesses reported that a joke made during the festivities upset the groom, causing him to lose his temper. His subsequent rude behavior was deemed unacceptable by the bride's family, who expressed doubts about his mental stability. This led to a heated argument between the two families.

Groom's Family in a Dilemma Over Bride's Departure
The situation escalated to the police, who attempted to mediate and resolve the dispute. Although the atmosphere calmed down with police presence, no agreement was reached regarding the bride's departure. Ultimately, it was decided that the wedding party would return without the bride. Meanwhile, the groom's family continued to seek assistance from the police regarding the bride's departure, arguing that if the groom's mental state were truly unstable, he wouldn't be able to hold a job at a private company.
