Tezzbuzz Desk- In the 52nd match of IPL 2026, Gujarat Titans performed brilliantly and registered a big win by defeating Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs. Captain Shubman Gill’s team showed a strong performance in both the departments, first batting and later bowling.
Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 229 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. The team got a strong start when Shubman Gill played a brilliant inning of 84 runs and with him Sai Sudharsan added 55 runs and made a partnership of 118 runs for the first wicket. Apart from this, Washington Sundar remained unbeaten after scoring 37 runs. Jos Buttler contributed 13 runs and Rahul Tewatia contributed 14 runs.
Rajasthan Royals, who came to chase the target of 230 runs, had a very bad start and captain Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after scoring only 3 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a quick inning of 36 runs in 16 balls, but the team kept losing wickets and was reduced to 152 runs in 16.3 overs.
The biggest blow in Rajasthan’s innings was given by Rashid Khan, who took 4 wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs with his lethal spin. He completely changed the course of the match by sending Dhruv Jurel, Donovan Ferreira, Shubham Dubey and Ravindra Jadeja to the pavilion.

With this win, Gujarat Titans once again proved their strong position, while Rajasthan Royals had to bear the brunt of major weakness in batting.
