This extraordinary situation occurred to 37-year-old Cristina Rosi from Italy.

Cristina had been in a coma for the past ten months. Recently, she regained consciousness, bringing immense joy to her family. The first word she uttered upon waking was 'mamma.' Her husband, Gabriele Susi, informed her that she had given birth while in a coma, a revelation that left her in shock.

Gabriele, 42, explained that Cristina suffered a heart attack ten months ago, which led to her coma. She was pregnant at the time, and when the moment for delivery arrived, doctors performed a cesarean section to safely deliver the baby. The child was cared for by others during Cristina's unconsciousness. Gabriele had feared that their child would never meet their mother, but now, with Cristina awake, their joy knew no bounds.

Gabriele shared that Cristina fell into a coma last July, and their family has endured significant pain since then. However, they never expected that after such hardship, happiness would return. While Cristina is still recovering and requires further treatment, Gabriele is working hard to fund her medical expenses. Meanwhile, Cristina's mother expressed her delight at seeing her daughter awake, stating it felt like a rebirth. Currently, Cristina is undergoing physiotherapy at a private clinic, and her family remains hopeful for her full recovery.
