Mumbai: A shocking video showing two young fans allegedly trying to snatch the wristwatch of Team India and former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma while he was sitting inside a car has gone viral on social media.
Though the exact time and location of the incident are yet to be confirmed, the video has raised concern among fans online. In the viral clip, Rohit Sharma is seen sitting in the back seat of his car and waving at fans gathered outside.
Two youngsters are seen trying to hold Rohit’s hand, and one of them appears to attempt removing his watch.
Reacting quickly, Rohit pulled up the car window and gestured to the boys to move away.
Some social media users claimed that the watch worn by Rohit was a Rolex “Giraffe” model reportedly worth around Rs 3.25 crore. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the model or its value.
