Today, the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced the participation of iconic players Isiah Thomas and DeMarcus Cousins for the upcoming BUDX NBA House, scheduled for May 9 and 10 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

BUDX NBA House promises an exhilarating fan experience that merges basketball with music, fashion, and culture. During the event, the two-time NBA champion and Hall of Famer, Isiah Thomas, alongside four-time NBA All-Star, DeMarcus Cousins, revealed the complete programming lineup while engaging with basketball enthusiasts.

BUDX NBA House: A Celebration of Culture and Community

At a press conference, Rajah Chaudhry, Head of Strategy for APAC at the NBA, expressed that the BUDX NBA House aims to bring the NBA experience closer to Indian fans by integrating basketball with music, fashion, sneaker culture, and community involvement. Following a successful launch in Mumbai, the New Delhi edition will feature NBA legends, celebrity games, live performances, and interactive fan activities.

"Our vision for BUDX NBA House has always been to connect the vibrant energy of the NBA with fans in India. Events like this allow us to merge the excitement of basketball with music, fashion, and community in a way that resonates locally. After a successful debut in Mumbai, we are thrilled to bring BUDX NBA House to New Delhi this year, alongside our partners at Budweiser, featuring NBA legends, celebrity games, artist performances, and interactive programming that celebrates the various ways fans engage with the game," he stated.

Exciting Activities and Performances Await

The weekend will be filled with basketball-themed activities and a lineup of musical performances from artists such as NAV, Oppidan, Yashraj, Reble, Fijiana, The Bausa, and Chor Bazaar. A 3-on-3 celebrity game will include personalities like Shanaya Kapoor, Rannvijay Singha, Arvind Krishna, Varun Sood, Sonia Rathee, Simran Kaur, Harman Singha, Shireen Limaye, Lalrina Renthlei, Dhruv Barman, and Anant Ahuja. Fans will also have the chance to take photos with the Larry O'Brien Trophy, and enjoy performances by the Sacramento Kings mascot Slamson, the Kings Dancers, and the dunk team.

BUDX NBA House 2026 will feature BUDX Masterclasses—expert-led workshops and panel discussions aimed at educating and engaging emerging artists, DJs, and fans, along with streetwear showcases and a variety of food and beverage experiences.

Isiah Thomas emphasized that basketball has the unique ability to unite individuals across different cultures and generations while instilling values like teamwork and discipline. He noted that the sport opens doors for young people and described the initiative to bring basketball to India as a means to foster connection and community through sport.
