About ‘Daadi ki Shaadi’

Daadi ki Shaadi features an ensemble cast that includes Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor, R Sarathkumar, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Nikhat Hegde, Tejaswini Kolhapure, and Sadia Khateeb. The lively family drama promises chaos, comedy, laughter as well as emotional moments.

Daadi ki Shaadi, directed by Ashish R Mohan, is built on this premise of senior weddings. Kapoor plays the unapologetic Daadi, the matriarch of the house, who is hell-bent on getting married to the love of her life, played by veteran Tamil star, R Sarathkumar.

In an interview with HT City, Riddhima had talked about her acting debut and how her family reacted to it.

She said, "They are so excited. I keep sending them snippets of the scene and yes fully supportive - the best part is mom and I staying together and we rehearse our lines every day. Samara (Riddhima’s daughter) is going to visit me once her school breaks for summer holidays.”
