The Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma restaurant visit, which took place in 2023 at the iconic Central Tiffin Room (CTR), recently became a talking point again after the restaurant’s director opened up about what unfolded that day. From crowd frenzy outside the eatery to roads getting blocked within minutes, the couple’s presence created a situation no one at the restaurant had expected.
The Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Restaurant Visit In Bengaluru Created ChaosSpeaking to Pinkvilla Biz, Central Tiffin Room director Ganesh Poojari recalled how he first received a call informing him that Virat and Anushka would be visiting the restaurant. However, he admitted that he initially did not believe it and assumed it was a prank. According to him, there were several follow-up calls from people handling VIP movement, but he continued to dismiss them as unnecessary hype until the couple actually arrived.

Ganesh shared that the final confirmation came only minutes before the two cars pulled up outside the restaurant. The staff then quickly made arrangements for the family and cleared an entire floor for them.
During their interaction, Anushka reportedly mentioned that she had visited the eatery years ago during her college days and had been wanting to come back for a long time. Ganesh also described her as warm and easy to talk to throughout the visit.

As word spread, fans gathered in huge numbers hoping to catch a glimpse of the celebrity couple. Ganesh recalled that the crowd became so large that vehicles could no longer move on the road nearby.
He shared that the situation became difficult to manage while Virat and Anushka were leaving the restaurant, as people surrounded the entrance and their car. According to him, the roads were completely jammed and fans were waiting outside in large numbers just to see the couple for a few seconds.
Ganesh further revealed that after the incident, the local police station contacted the restaurant and requested the management to inform authorities in advance whenever celebrities planned to visit the eatery in the future.
