Al-Nassr beat Al-Shabab 4-2
Riyadh. Veteran footballer Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 100th goal in the Saudi Pro League as Al-Nassr beat Al-Shabab 4-2 to move five points clear at the top of the table. The 41-year-old forward scored the 971st goal of his career from Sadio Mane’s cross 15 minutes before the end of the match on Thursday. It was also his 26th goal in the league this season.
Former Chelsea player Joao Felix scored three goals for Al-Nassr. With this win, Al-Nassr has 82 points from 32 matches, five points more than second-placed Al-Hilal. Al-Hilal still have three matches to play, one more than Al-Nassr. Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 but in his presence the team has not yet won any major trophy in Saudi Arabia.
