UPPSC APO 2025 Mains: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has launched the online application process for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Mains examination for 2025. Candidates who have successfully passed the Preliminary examination can now apply through the official website of the Commission.

The application window opened on May 7, 2026, and candidates must complete their applications by May 22, 2026, as per the Commission's notification.

**2,856 Candidates Qualified for Mains**

Eligibility for the Mains examination is limited to candidates who have cleared the APO 2025 Preliminary examination. A total of 2,856 candidates have been selected to move forward to the Mains examination.

The Preliminary examination took place on March 22, 2026, and those who qualified will now advance to the next phase.

**Post-Application Steps**

The Commission has specified that after submitting the online application, candidates must print their application form and send it along with self-attested copies of all required educational documents to the designated address.

These documents must be submitted either by post or in person by 3:00 PM on May 29, 2026, to: "Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (Exam-3 Section), 10 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Prayagraj – 211018."

**Recruitment Process Overview**

The recruitment process consists of three stages: the Preliminary examination, the Mains examination, and the Interview. Only candidates who pass the Mains examination will be invited for the Personality Test or Interview. This recruitment drive aims to fill 182 Assistant Prosecution Officer positions.

Candidates are required to pay the application fee online during the application process. The Commission recommends that candidates thoroughly review the official notification before applying.

2. Click on the link for the “APO Mains Exam 2025 Application Form” on the homepage.

3. Enter your OTR number to proceed.

4. Complete the login verification using your password or OTR.

5. Fill out the application form displayed on the screen carefully.

6. Pay the application fee by selecting the “Check Latest Status” option.

7. Save the information and print the application form for your records.
