UPPSC APO 2025 Mains: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has initiated the online application process for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) 2025 Mains examination. Candidates who have successfully cleared the Preliminary examination can now visit the Commission's official website to apply.

The application process commenced on May 7, 2026. According to the notification issued by the Commission, the deadline for filling out the application form for the UPPSC APO Mains examination 2026 has been set for May 22, 2026.

**2,856 Candidates Qualify for the Mains Examination**
Only those candidates who have been declared successful in the results of the APO 2025 Preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for this examination. Based on the Preliminary examination, a total of 2,856 candidates have been shortlisted for the Mains examination.

It is noteworthy that the UP APO Preliminary examination was conducted on March 22, 2026. The selected candidates will now proceed to the next stage, i.e., the Mains examination.

**Steps to Follow After Applying**
In its official notice, the Commission has also clarified that upon completing the online application, candidates are required to send a printout of their application form, along with self-attested copies of all necessary educational certificates and documents, to the designated address.

Candidates must submit these documents—either by post or in person—to the following address by 3:00 PM on May 29, 2026: "Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (Exam-3 Section), 10 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Prayagraj – 211018."

**Stages of the Recruitment Process**
This recruitment process comprises three stages: the Preliminary examination, the Mains examination, and the Interview. Only those candidates who qualify in the Mains examination will be called for the Personality Test or Interview. Through this recruitment drive, appointments will be made for a total of 182 posts of Assistant Prosecution Officer.

Candidates are required to pay the prescribed fee online while submitting their applications. The Commission has advised candidates to carefully read the official notification before applying.

**How to Apply?**

First, visit the official UPPSC website at uppsc.up.nic.in.
Click on the “APO Mains Exam 2025 Application Form” link available on the homepage.
Now, proceed by entering your OTR number.
Complete the login verification using your password or OTR.
Carefully fill out the application form displayed on the screen.
Submit the application fee by clicking on the “Check Latest Status” option.
Save all the information and take a printout of the application form for safekeeping.
