MPESB Recruitment 2026: Online applications have commenced for the recruitment of 1,200 vacant positions for the post of Hospital Assistant, conducted by the MPESB. Interested candidates may visit the official website, esb.mp.gov.in, to fill out and submit their application forms by May 21, 2026.

A total of 1,200 appointments will be made under the Hospital Assistant Recruitment 2026 drive. Of these, 324 posts have been reserved for the Unreserved (UR) category, 120 for EWS, 192 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 240 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 324 for the OBC category.

**10th Pass Candidates May Apply**
To be eligible for the MPESB Hospital Assistant Recruitment 2026, candidates must have passed the 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board. No additional educational qualifications are required for this recruitment process. The prescribed age limit for candidates belonging to the General category is 18 to 40 years; however, candidates who are domiciled residents of Madhya Pradesh—specifically those belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and female categories—are granted an age relaxation of 5 years, setting their maximum age limit at 45 years.

**What is the Application Fee?**
The application fee for the MPESB Hospital Assistant Recruitment 2026 has been fixed at ₹500 for candidates belonging to the Unreserved category. Conversely, for candidates who are domiciled residents of Madhya Pradesh—specifically those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), EWS, and Persons with Disabilities—the application fee is set at ₹250.

**Rules Regarding Scribes and Extra Time**
If a candidate wishes to utilize the services of an assistant (scribe) to write on their behalf, the educational qualification of the assistant must be one level lower than that of the candidate. For instance, if the examination requires a minimum qualification of Graduation, the assistant must have passed at least the 12th grade. Candidates requiring such assistance will also be granted additional time during the examination. Candidates will be granted an additional 1 hour for a 3-hour examination, 50 minutes for a 2.5-hour examination, 40 minutes for a 2-hour examination, and 30 minutes for a 1.5-hour examination. Furthermore, every effort will be made to allot examination rooms on the ground floor for such candidates.
