UP Police SI Final Answer Key 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has published the results and the final answer key for the written examination conducted for the SI recruitment. Candidates can view their results and the answer key by visiting the official website. The answer key will remain available on the official website only until May 14. In the final answer key, errors were identified in the options provided for 8 questions; 8 questions were found to have more than one correct option; and changes were made to the answer options for 4 questions. The Recruitment Board has also outlined the method for the distribution of marks regarding these questions.

Objections Raised Against 20 Questions Found Valid
Candidates can access the answer key for the examination, which was held on March 14 and 15, 2026, by visiting the official website, uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates were given a window from March 23, 2026, to March 26, 2026, to register objections against the provisional answer key.

Following a review of the received objections by subject matter experts, objections regarding 20 questions were found to be valid. These include errors in the answer options for 8 questions, instances where 8 questions had more than one correct option, and changes made to the answer options for 4 questions.

What Happened to These 20 Questions?
The Recruitment Board has stated that the following decisions have been taken regarding the distribution of marks for the questions against which valid objections were raised:

It has been decided to cancel 08 questions/answer options due to errors identified within them. The marks allocated to these cancelled questions will be distributed among the candidates in accordance with the arrangement approved by the Hon'ble High Court of Allahabad in Writ Petition No. 2669 (MB)/2009, *Pawan Kumar Agrahari vs. U.P. Public Service Commission*.
08 questions were found to have more than one correct option. In this regard, it has been decided that if a candidate has selected any one of the correct options, they will be awarded the marks prescribed for a correct answer.

Changes have been made to the answer options for 04 questions. 12,333 Candidates Qualify for DV/PST
Based on performance in the written examination, the Recruitment Board has declared a total of 12,333 candidates eligible for the next stage of the recruitment process. This figure represents approximately 2.7 times the number of advertised vacancies. This includes all candidates who secured the same cutoff score.
