Let's delve into the details.
The 43-year-old woman from Tilak Nagar had experienced three failed marriages, with each husband leaving her. She was involved with another man, who deserted her upon discovering her pregnancy. Six months after giving birth, both the mother and her child were diagnosed with a serious illness.
Mother and Child Test Positive for HIV
It was revealed that both the mother and her infant son tested positive for HIV. Struggling with financial difficulties and the mounting costs of treatment, the woman tragically took the life of her six-month-old child by suffocating him with a pillow while he slept in a cradle. After committing this horrific act, she also contemplated harming another woman who worked in her household and planned to end her own life.
Truth Revealed by the Accused

The accused stated, 'I was overwhelmed by my circumstances. I was unemployed, and all three of my husbands left me. Then I found a boyfriend, but he abandoned me when I became pregnant. Later, I discovered that I was HIV positive, and so was my son. This news drove me to despair, leading me to kill my child.' The investigation into the case is currently ongoing.
