New Delhi: An important agreement has been reached between America and Iran. Both countries have agreed to gradually reopen the Strait of Hormuz. In return, America is ready to ease its naval blockade. With this agreement, the hope of reducing the crisis on global energy supply has increased.

Sources of Al Arabiya News Channel said that this agreement has been reached between the two parties. Iran had closed this strait when the conflict started, due to which the supply of oil around the world was affected. Sources said, “In exchange for easing the blockade, it has been agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz in a phased manner. The ships stuck in the Strait will be released in the coming few hours.”
Trump’s positive statement
US President Donald Trump said today that talks with Iran are going “very well”. He expressed hope that the war would end soon. Before this development, Tehran was considering a 14-point memorandum of understanding (MoU) proposed by Washington.

According to reports, in the agreement Iran may promise to stop nuclear enrichment. In return, America is ready to lift its sanctions and release billions of dollars stuck in Iran. Both countries will also remove restrictions on movement in the strait. Earlier, Reuters, quoting Pakistani sources, had also reported that both the countries have come close to a brief one-page agreement.
